Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba tests positive for Covid-19, left out of France team for Nations Cup
XtraTime Web Desk: Manchester United star midfielder Paul Pogba won't feature in the France squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches as he was found COVID-19 positive after a test, confirmed France Football Team manager Didier Deschamps on Thursday.
Deschamps said Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was called up as a late replacement for Pogba.
“I had to make a change at the last minute because Paul Pogba was supposed to be in the squad," Deschamps said. “Unfortunately for him, he had a test yesterday which was positive this morning.”
The Manchester United midfielder's place in the squad will be taken by 17-year-old Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga ahead of upcoming Nations League qualifiers against Sweden and Croatia.
