Kolkata: Star East Bengal foreigner Mahmoud Al Amnah began his practice session for the Red and Gold brigade on July 23. The I-League winning midfield joined the Kolkata giants this season from Aizawl FC began his practice under the guidance of physio Garcia. The Syrian midfielder was seen performing endurance with the likes of sprinting in a muddy East Bengal ground.

Lot of fans who turned out in a rainy afternoon to watch Amnah practicing was not disheartened when the footballer clicked selfies with them. Under strict commands from the club, the foreigner refused to speak for the press. After watching him practice on the very fast day it can be said that he was under fitness and practice while staying in Egypt as he felt no discomfort in training. He will resume the training tomorrow on both times of the day with other fellow footballers of the team. As of now Amnah will be trying to get used to the new climate and the new surroundings.

ATK principle owner Sanjib Goenka remaked the other day claming East Bengal and Mohun Bagan to be ‘’dadas” while ATK being “bhai” to which both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan officials had very little to say.

“He is very intelligent” said Debabrata Sarkar while Debasish Dutta said “Not all questions are to be answered”. From what the officials of the two clubs say it can be seen that both want to avoid the topic of conflict.

As per reports Alvito D’Cunha is in Mumbai and is currently thinking of buying unsold players. Same applies for Mohun Bagan too, who are also looking to rope in the players who failed to get a club in the ISL draft.

Positioned at 180th number and being sold at a price of 18 lakhs Abinash Ruidas has been sold to Mumbai City FC . East Bengal official Debabrata Sarkar said “We are not currently bothered about  this matter”

On the other hand IFA has called a States Committee meeting regarding the issue of Abhinas Ruidas.

Earlier East Bengal claimed that Abhinas was their player and had submitted his token to the IFA board and on the other hand Abhinas claiming him to be a free agent enlisted his name in the ISL draft.
