“Small dream come true”: Neeraj Chopra shares pictures of his parents on their first flight
Xtra Time Web Desk: Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra on Saturday fulfilled a ‘small dream’ as he took his parents on their first flight. The 23 year old javelin thrower shared the pictures of his parents boarding the flight. He tweeted, "A small dream of mine came true today as I was able to take my parents on their first flight,"
It does show that despite winning gold in Olympics, Neeraj prefers staying grounded and leading a simple life. Like any other son, Neeraj also wanted his parents to be happy. He took his parents in a commercial along with other passengers. He was seen seated alongside his mother.
Neeraj threw 87.02 metres in his first attempt but bettered his record in the second essay with a distance of 87.58m in the mega event to pick the gold at Tokyo Olympics.
