Kolkata: Mohun Bagan striker Ansumana Kromah was in great form in the Kolkata League and after that scored against his former club Churchill Brothers in the I- League encounter earlier in December. But after that he is yet to get his form back in the most precious tournament of football in India.

The Green and Maroon Brigade is clearly missing their captain Sony Norde on the pitch as he got an injury. Today after the practice session Kromah said, “The midfielders should keep the ball on the ground and pass in the right areas and wingers also have to cross the ball but, they are relying on long balls to the forwards. Sometimes, the ball went above my head it is not helping me. Lack of communication issues haunted us in the previous matches. We need to hold the ball in the midfield. “

Taking about the coach’s strategy he said “It’s very clear to us. I don’t want to talk about his strategy because our job is to play football on the ground and he makes strategies. We also shares our problems with him but, he has his own tactics. Now it’s difficult for us as far as the I- League table is concern but, we need to win the remaining matches.”

“No striker in the world wants to miss a goal but, as a human being we also do mistakes but we need to rebuild the supply line so that we can have some quality balls in the box to score.” Later he added.

Sony will receive his MRI report by today night. Probably, he will be back on 21st of this month against East Bengal in the derby return league.
