Internet Desk: The fight for the top spot in La Liga between Real Madrid and Barcelona is heading for a see-saw battle as both teams are tied on 87 points each.

The Catalonian giants have a better goal difference than Real who has played a match less. Barcelona has a single game remaining which is a must win game for them when they face Eibar at the Camp Nou. Barcelona will have to hope that Real Madrid either looses to Celta Vigo or with Malaga as the Luis Enrique side has a better head to head record.

Both the teams thrashed their opponents to a same score of 4-1 in their previous game. Real Madrid thrashed Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu while Barcelona routed Las Palmas at Gran Carania.

Real Madrid drew the first blood with Nacho. Minutes later a Cristiano Ronaldo goal saw the Madrid giants edging up by a 2 goal lead. Ronaldo reached yet another milestone when he scored 400 goals for real Madrid in all competitions.
Stevan Jovetic pulled a goal back for the visitors before another goal from Ronaldo and a late goal from Tony Kroos sealed the game.

On the other hand Barcelona routed Las Palmas with a superb Neymar hat trick. Barca took a two goal lead in the first half with goals from Neymar and Suarez. Perdo Bigas pulled one for his side before Neymar scored two goals in quick succession to complete his hat trick and seal the game for the Cules.

Real Madrid who lost the last El-Classico 3-2, proved to be the turning point in their league campaign this season. The Zidane side won all of their games apart from a draw at the Madrid derby.
Real Madrid has a better chance as they have an extra game to play. If Barcelona manages to win the next game that would take them to 90 points and hence Real Madrid would have to secure 4 points from the remaining two games that they have.
If both the teams remain at the same point at the end of 38 games, Barcelona would be crowned as Champions as they have a better head-to-head record in this season.
