XtraTime Web Desk: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has chosen Jeje Lalpekhlua in the list which is sent to the government for the prestigious Arjuna Award.
Earlier there were only two names in the list who were Sandesh Jhingan and Bala Devi but the AIFF decided to include Jeje’s name later.
Jeje has played 56 matches so far for the Blue Tigers and has scored 23 goals so far. Jeje made his debut for the senior India national football team in the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup qualification against Chinese Taipei and scored a goal.
