ISL 2021-22: Roy Krishna extends contract with ATK Mohun Bagan for one more season

Xtra Time Web Desk: On the special occasion of Mohun Bagan Day (July 29), ATK Mohun Bagan officially announced that their star Fijian striker Roy Krishna will stay at the club for another season in Indian Super League (ISL). It also puts an end to the speculation about the future of Roy Krishna.  The Mariners confirmed the news on its official twitter handle.

Last season’s Golden Ball winner, Roy Krishna will once again lead the attack for the Green and Maroon and is already targeting trophies to add to the ISL title he won in his first season. The Fijian will pair up with Hugo Boumous who was roped in from Mumbai City FC, making them the strongest attacking line up in ISL this season.

Krishna said, It is an honor for him to be continuing with ATK Mohun Bagan and adds that his motivation is always to give his best and help his team win every match and trophy that they compete for.

He also added, since the first day h arrived in India, h was overwhelmed with the love and support he and his family have been shown.

The 2021-2022 Indian Super League season will begin in November.
