Ishan Kishan forced to leave training session after being stung by honey-bee ahead of NZ tie | CWC2023

Xtra Time Web Desk: In a bizarre incident, Team India wicketkeeper batter Ishan Kishan was stung by honey bee during the practice session at HPCA stadium on Saturday.  What exactly happened? The left hander was the first to walk into the nets to bat along with Virat Kohli. He was seen taking throwdowns from Raghu and Dayanand. After about 30 minutes, Ishan was seen waiting behind the nets Virat was batting.

It was during this time he was stung by a honey-bee. He immediately put his hand behind the head and was rushed out of the nets area. Moments later he was seen flanked by batting coach Vikram Rathour and physio Kamlesh.

Even after being attended, Ishan was seen holding his hand behind. Little later Ishan was seen leaving the practice arena.

Hardik Pandya’s injury has jeopardised the entire balance of the team. The all-rounder is an integral part of the Indian cricket team. Either Ishan or Suryakumar Yadav was thought as a replacement for Hardik at No 6.
