Image Source: twitter @IPL[/caption] Internet Desk: It was dream debut for Rising Pune Supergiants as they started their Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign on a rousing note with a comfortable nine-wicket win against the reigning champions Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on Saturday. Man of the Match Ajinkya Rahane scored an unbeaten 66 off 42 balls to guide his new team successfully chase the target of 122 runs with 32 balls to spare. Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma did not hesitate to bat first after winning the toss at Wankhede. But wickets at regular intervals dashed Mumbai’s hopes of posting a bigger total. Harbhajan Singh played an unbeaten cameo of 45 runs off 30 balls to help the total some respectability. Ambati Rayudu too chipped in with 22 off 27 balls. Mumbai's new recruit Jos Buttler (0), Lendl Simmons(8), Kieron Pollard(1) and Rohit Sharma(7) had no answers against some disciplined Pune bowling. In contrast, Rising Pune Supergiants started the chase in a rollicking style with a 78-run opening stand between Rahane inside 10 overs. Kevin Pietersen and Faf du Plessis also played entertaining knocks of 21(14) and 34(33) respectively. For Mumbai, Harbhajan was the only successful bowler as India's recent finds, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah failed to impress.
