Xtra Time Web Desk : The Indian Premier League has been the most coveted T20 franchise tournament over the the last 15 years for many a reasons.

One of the main factors behind he Indian Premier League becoming the brand ‘IPL’ has undoubtedly been it’s pool of talent, which it has possessed since it’s inception in 2008.

The league, which is widely known to provide platforms to uncapped cricketers from all corners of the world to showcase their talent against some of the biggest names in world cricket, has been absolutely successful in it’s purpose.

And this season of the tournament too hasn’t been different. So here’s a look at 10 uncapped cricketers who have impressed the critics so far in the ongoing IPL :

Ayush Badoni : The 22 year old cricketer from Delhi has been a revelation in the Indian Premier League this season. Playing for his franchise, Lucknow Super Giants the right handed batter has performed consistently till now after scoring an impressive half century on his debut against Gujarat Titans, which has already drawn comparisons with that of AB de Villiers.

Shahbaz Ahmed : The 27 year RCB old all rounder from Bengal has been mighty impressive this season, to say the least. The match winning innings of 45 against Rajasthan Royals alongside Dinesh Karthik was a true testimony to his talent.

Tilak Verma : The Mumbai Indians batter has also been a revelation this season, as the southpaw has performed really well in the tournament till now. His innings of 61 from 33 balls against Rajasthan Royals showed the cricket fans all over the world, a glimpse of the talent he possesses.

Lalit Yadav : The 25 year old batter from Delhi has been a pillar in the middle order for the Delhi Capitals in the ongoing season of the IPL. With a series of good performances on trot, Lalit has impressed everyone around the Indian Cricket fraternity by his batting skills.

Akash Deep : Yet another Bengal cricketer, RCB’s Akash Deep has also been one of those bowlers who has taken the biggest T20 franchise league by storm. Especially Akash’s 3 wickets against Kolkata Knight Riders has been the highlight for him, this season.

Abhinav Manohar : Abhinav Manohar Sadrangani had been a much discussed name among the cricket fanatics since Gujarat Titans bought him in this year’s IPL mega auction. Known for his hitting ability, the 27 year old has truly lived up to the expectations and has proved to be a finisher for his side this season. The innings of 15 from just 9 balls on his debut was a testimony to that.

Anuj Rawat : The left handed Royal Challengers Bangalore batter has been the find of the season for so far for his franchise. Being handed over, with a difficult job of replacing Devdutt Padikkal at the top of the order, the 22 year old has been mighty impressive in that role.

Umran Malik : The fiery 22 year old pacer from Jammu and Kashmir has been one of the most discussed name the ongoing Indian Premier League, due to his sheer talent with the ball. With the SRH pacer bowling over 150 clicks regularly, he is surely one of the biggest prospects of the IPL.

Abhishek Sharma : The former U19 World Cup winner, has finally lived up to his much coveted potential this season, especially over the last two matches. With a match winning knock of 75 against Chennai Super Kings and an impressive 42 against Gujarat Titans, Abhishek is surely a cricketer to watch out for.

Sai Sudharsan : The southpaw from Chennai has played well so far for his franchise Gujarat Titans, since making his debut against Punjab Kings with a 35, which later came in a match winning cause. The 20 year old batter has till now reminded the cricket fanatics around the country of Suresh Raina, with his stylish stroke making.
