It was always a tough task in hand for Rajasthan Royals even before the match started today vs Mumbai Indians the defending champions of Indian Premier League. On Thursday in the first match of the double header Mumbai comfortably beat Rajasthan by 7 Wickets to notch up yet another win.

Batting first today Rajasthan got of to a good start today. Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal put on 66 runs for the first wicket. Buttler scored 41 runs from just 32 balls and Jaiswal played a quickfire knock of 32 from just 20 balls. After their departure captain Sanju Samson (42) and Shibam Dube (35) were the only two batters who tried to put on some challenging total in the board but they could manage 171/4 from their 20 overs.

Chasing 172 runs to win Mumbai started poorly as they lost their captain Rohit Sharma whi scored 14 . Suryakumar Yadav too went to the pavillion early after scoring 16 runs. South African wicketkeeper batsman Quinton de Kock then took over the charge with the bat helped by Krunal pandya. De Kock remained not out on 70 runs from just 50 balls. He was well supported by Krunal who scored 39 runs from 26 balls and ensured a comfortable 7 wicket victory for his side.
