Xtratime Web Desk : India has seen an upsurge of corona cases throughout the country. In some parts of the country situation is very very tricky. Many countries have out India under red zone category. In the wake if corona surge in the country Australian government has also suspended all passengers flight to and from India until 15th May or further notice whichever us early. In this situation Indian Premier League (IPL 2021,Indian T-20 League) matches are still being held in 6 centres across India.

Incidentally fearing this could happen Rajasthan Royals Australian pacer Andrew Tye flew back to the country a few days earlier. He was soon followed by Kane Richardson and Adam Zampa of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Still there are 30 Australians are involved in different categories in the IPL.

The decision to suspend passenger flights with India was made during a National Security Committee meeting. For now, they will be stranded aboard until situation improves.
