Subhabrata Mukherjee : On Saturday night at Cheapauk Stadium in Chennai Mumbai Indians faced off challenges from Sunrisers Hyderabad. The wicket was on the slower side. Batsmen from both sides who depended upon timing for their strokeplay struggled a bit on this wicket.





Rohit first captain to score 4000 runs in T-20 :


Rohit Sharma scored 32 runs from just 25 balls. He hit 2 fours and 2 sixes before he got out from a Shardul Thakur delivery caught by Virat Singh. Before getting out Rohit set a new record of first captain to score 4000 runs in T-20 history.


Kieron Pollard quickfire 35 runs:-


In the 17th over Mumbai Indians were 114 for 4 as they just lost Ishan Kishan. With just 3 overs in hand a score of 150 seemed difficult. But Pollard stepped up and scored 35 not out from just 22 balls, hitting 1 four and 3 sixes. Mumbai finished with a score of 150/5 from 20 overs.




Bairstow Storm :-



English Wicket keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow was promoted up the order today by Hyderabad management to open the innings with David Warner. He didn't disappoint his management as he played a blinder. Scoring runs at ease and playing shots freely in a slow Chennai pitch. He scored runs from good balls as well. Jonny Bairstow came down hard on Trent Boult's bowling. He scored 43 runs from just 22 balls. He was out hit wicket of the bowling of Krunal Pandya.



Crucial wicket of David Warner :-



Hyderabad captain David Warner is the one is single handedly carrying the top order batting of his side from last few years. He was playing well before he was run out for 37 runs from 34 balls . The wicket turned the tie in favour of Mumbai.


Rahul Chahar finishes with 3 wickets :-


Task in hand for Hyderabad was really difficult after they lost Jonny Bairstow and David Warner. Mumbai's leggie Rahul Chahar made it sure that Mumbai bag full three points from the game without any hiccups by taking 3 wickets from his 4 overs after giving away just 19 runs.
