IPL 2020: Delhi Capital’s Ishant Sharma joins Ami Mishra, ruled out of tournament due to injury

Xtra Time Web Desk: Delhi Capitals fast bowler Ishant Sharma was ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League tournament on Monday. The experienced fast bowler have joined Amit Mishra who also has been out of the cash rich league owing to an injury he suffered in his rung finger while taking a sharp low catch few days back.

Ishant experienced an acute episode of left rib cage pain while bowling at a team training session on October 7 at the ICC acdemy in Dubai. Subsequent investigations revealed that he sustained a left internal oblique muscle tear,” a statement from the franchise said.

It further added, “This injury will unfortunately rule him out of the remainder of the Dream11 Indian Premier League 2020. Everyone at Delhi Capitals wishes Ishant a speedy recovery.”
