Kolkata: Whatever the format is, it can be an international match, club cricket or an IPL match 22 yards of Eden Gardens will always be a talking point.

It was cloudy Saturday evening when curator Sujan Mukherjee and other ground staffs were busy to save the turf CAB president Sourav Ganguly came to the field to see the wicket.

Though the curator was questioned by the RCB bowling coach Ashish Nehra. KKR players and support staffs including head coach Jacques Kallis, bowling coach Heath Streak spinner Sunil Narine, Mitchel Johnson and batsman Chris Lynn also inspected the wicket. There is some grass in the wicket and if there is some rain it can be the bowler game.

Though, two captains Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik certified the wicket. Now we have to wait till the first ball bowled to watch how the wicket will behave.
