XtraTime Web Desk: Shane Watson’s ton helped Chennai Super Kings to lift the Indian Premier League trophy for the third time. CSK came back very strongly after being suspended for two years. CSK beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets to claim the trophy.
SRH scored 178 runs in 20 overs by losing six wickets. While CSK crossed the target with nine balls to spare. Watson remains not out by scoring 117 runs in just 57 balls. Another experienced Indian player Suresh Raina gave support to the Aussie all-rounder by scoring 32 runs. Bhubaneswar Kumar was very economical today as he just conceded 17 runs in 4 overs.
SRH skipper also played a good knock earlier but missed a half-century. Yusuf Pathan also scored 47 runs but those runs weren’t enough to restrict CSK batsmen.
