Indian cricketers visit Mabula Game Reserve in South Africa

Debasis Sen, Johannesburg: Indian cricketers are currently enjoying their three day break in Johannesburg and they have divided in two groups for a safari ride. One group is going to Mabula National Reserve while the other group is going to Pilanesberg National Reserve. In both these reserves one can see the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros (both black and white species), elephant, and Cape buffalo). A few cricketers like Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah went to the Lions Safari Park in Johannesburg. The team left the Inter Continental Hotel in Sandton at 10am after having their breakfast. The players will stay overnight at the Reserves and come back to  Johannesburg tomorrow. Virat Kohli & Co. will start their preparation for the third test match at Wanderers from Sunday. The final test match is set to be played from Wednesday. The hosts have already won the three-match series 2-0 following their win at Super Sport Park in Centurion.

The Pilanesberg National Park is located in North West Province in South Africa, west of Pretoria which is 184 km away from Johannesburg. The park borders with the entertainment complex Sun City. Pilanesberg Game Reserve is called as the home to the Big 5.

On the other hand, Mabula Game Lodge is located 212 km away from Johannesburg in the Malaria Free Waterberg region of the Limpopo Province.

Here a tourist will get variety of animals, bird and plant life; the diverse landscapes ranging from grassland plains to rocky outcrops create an ideal habitat for the free roaming Big Five and all the little creatures that contribute to a magical wildlife experience that one will never forget.
