India win by 108 runs, leveling the series 1-1 at Dhaka

Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian Women’s Cricket Team returns to equality against Bangladesh in the ODIs Series. Led by a remarkable all-round performance from Jemimah Rodrigues, India secured a convincing 108-run victory over Bangladesh.

Having won the toss, Bangladesh decided to bat first. India’s top order failed to score runs on this day. However, captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues helped India reach a good total. Their partnership of 131 runs contributed to India’s total of 228 runs.

Jemimah played an outstanding innings, scoring 86 runs off just 78 balls. On the other hand, the Indian captain contributed 52 runs.

Chasing 229 runs, Bangladesh faced tough competition from Jemimah and Devika’s bowling. They surrendered at a mere total of 120 runs. Jemimah took four wickets, conceding only three runs. As the first Indian women cricketer, she achieved the feat of scoring more than 80 runs and taking four wickets in a single match. Devika also took three wickets.
