XtraTime Web Desk: India U19 cricket team beat Sri Lanka U19 in the final of the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2018 to clinch the title at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Sunday. It was a top performance by the Indian boys as they reached to a mammoth off a total of 304/3 in the allotted 50 overs. In reply the Lankan boys could only manage to reach 160 runs before getting all-out on 160 runs.
Chasing a huge total the boys from Sri Lanka were in immense pressure as young Harsh Tyagi derailed the Lankans with a superb 6-wicket haul. Although Paranavithana played like a warrior towards the end it wasn’t enough to overhaul the huge score put up by India.
