IND vs NZ 2017: Easy victory for India in do or die game, keeps the series tied

Internet Desk: India finished the second ODI in style in what happened to be a do or die game for the Men in Blues. After losing the first game against the kiwis, Virat and Co. were desperate for a win to bring back the series in level terms.

Chasing a mere target of 230 set by the Kiwis, India comfortably won the game by 6 wickets and 4 overs to spare.

After opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 7, Shikhar Dhawan led the charge and scored a brilkiant half century. Dhawan’s innings of 68 comprised of 5 boundaries and 2 sixes.

Skipper Virat Kohli and all rounder Hardik Pandya scored 29 and 30 respectively to add runs down the middle, while Dinesh Karthik played a superb knock of 64 and remained not out. Dhoni who remained unbeaten at 18 drove along with Karthik drove India to victory as India finished the game at 232-4.

As for New Zealand, Southee, Milne, Santner and Grandhomme bagged a wicket each.
