Kolkata: Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly looked very happy after Virat Kohli (92) played a gem of a knock against Australia today during the second ODI of the five-match ODI series at the Eden Gardens. According to Ganguly, Virat’s batting is always a treat to watch.
“He is always a treat to watch. It’s another good innings from Virat,” said the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President during the innings break.
Kohli played a captain’s knock of 92 runs in just 107 deliveries and Ajinkya Rahane scored 55 to power the home side to 252 before getting all-out.
Nathan Coulter-Nile and Kane Richardson were the stars for the Aussies as they took three wickets each.
The India skipper missed the century for just 8 runs as he was played on from a Coulter-Nile delivery.
