Hampshire Bowl in Southampton.

Xtra Time Web Desk: Bad news for cricket fans as the weather forecast in Southampton does not look promising for Day 4 of the ICC World Test Championship Final between India and New Zealand at the Ageas Bowl. According to UK Met department, there is a chance of showers throughout the day which means a possibility of yet another washout. Day 1 of the ongoing WTC Final has already been washed out due to wet outfield.

According to the UK Met department, “Cloudy throughout Monday with heavy showers continuing to push northwards. Showers becoming lighter late afternoon but staying cloudy.”

The play was called off on Friday (Day 1) without a ball being bowled. The toss did not happen either. The test match is evenly poised with odds slightly in favour of the Kiwis. The BlackCaps are on 101/1 after having bowled out India for 217 in 92.1 overs. Fast bowler Kyle Jamieson was the pick of New Zealand bowlers, picking 5/27 in 22 overs. BlackCaps captain Kane Williamson is at the crease with Ross Taylor.

There is a reserve day (June 23) for the WTC final.
