I-League 2018/19: Horrific show continues as East Bengal lose three matches on the trot

 

XtraTime Web Desk: Quess East Bengal’s torrid time continues as the Red and Gold brigade receives yet another defeat on their home turf as Minerva Punjab beat them by an William Opoku goal today at the Salt Lake Stadium.

East Bengal’s Enrique Esqueda continued his disappointing show as the attacking front seemed to be blunt right from the outset.

Jobby Justin too felt the urgency of having a playmaker as he was wandering for some goalscoring movements throughout.

The deciding moment of the game came in the 77th minute when Moinuddin delivered a sensational ball from the left and Opoku found the winning goal at ease.

This makes East Bengal’s third consecutive defeat in a row for Alejandro Menendez Garcia’s team as the poor show continues.
