Like the previous seasons, this season too have discovered some extremely talented young prospects who has the potential o serve Indian football for a long time. Here goes the top six choices of www.xtratime.in : 1 Issac Vanlalsawma (Shillong Lajong) : The way the 20-year-old midfielder has performed this season for Shillong Lajong, it can be easily said that India have got a sensational talent in terms of set pieces. His vision and variation in taking set piece opportunities had become a point of concern for all the coaches this season in the I-League. The young lad has brilliant with-the-ball speed and long-range shooting skills to outsmart the oppositions. After Steven Dias, Issac is by far the best find for dead ball situations. 2 Subhasish Bose (Mohun Bagan) : The 21 years old left full-back has been a find of the season and credit should go to the Bagan coach Sanjoy Sen as well for scouting him in the U22 quota. He is tall, strong and athletic. The former Sporting Clube de Goa defender played splendidly well and earned a call-up for the national team squad. He is not only lethal with his overlapping runs, but also has the brilliant quality to track back immediately. He is indeed the horse for a long race. 3 Chesterpoul Lyngdoh (Churchill Brothers) : The Churchill Brothers team didn't have any star recruit this season. But this 20 years old has come up with more zeal and creativity to show his worth in the big stage. He has been outstanding throughout the season. He scored three goals and assisted five times to help his team to finish in the top eight and earn the place in the Federation Cup. 4 Brandon Vanlalremdika (Aizawl FC) : The 23 years old Mizo lad has been ineffable since he came into the picture. A terrific ball player and is known for his electric runs down the left flank and brilliant control. Every time when coach Khalid Jamil used him, he came up with flying colours. A constant threat and has the quality of outfoxing any defender with his nimble-footed dribbling skills. 5 Vishal Kaith (Shillong Lajong) : Without a doubt, the 20 years old had been the best young goalkeeper of the season. His performances became more significant in the away games this season. The four Hero of the Match awards he won in this I-League speak volumes about his performance between the sticks. His gripping, presence in the box in dead ball opportunities and outstanding reflex have been consistently proven this season. 6 Nanda kumar (CCFC) : The 21 years old midfielder had been a genuine game-changer this season for Chennai City FC. His priceless goals against Kolkata Giants East Bengal and Mohun Bagan became the talking points throughout the season. The burst of speed and finishing accuracy he has, will no doubt help him to hold the torch of Tamil Nadu football in the years to come.
