Kolkata: The concerns for Mohun Bagan in hosting home games continues as the Mariners’ have to play their next home fixture in an empty Barasat Stadium on Friday. The security reasons are forcing the Green & Maroon brigade to play without their passionate fans.

On Friday, owing to a special meeting of the Honourable Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Barasat, Sanjoy Sen’s men have to play without their supporters. The inconvenience of having police protection appeared to be the serious concern and thus forced to take such decision.

Meanwhile, Mohun Bagan’s appeal to arrange their remaining home games at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium got a setback as the Green Bench has adjourned their decision till January 12th.
