Internet Desk: It was an almost full house crowd as Kolkata giant East Bengal faced Neroca FC at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium in Imphal, Manipur. East Bengal drew Neroca 1-1 as Turkovic scored an equaliser for the home side.

The crowd did the job of twelfth men for the home side as they cheered every moment whenever any Neroca player had the ball in their feet. But, it was disheartening for them as Katsumi Yusa sent the ball back of the net of the home side in the 12th minute. It was completely defensive lapse as no defender followed the Japanese Plaza passed the ball to Ralte in the six yard box Ralte had no space to shot and passed it to Katsumi to score the only goal in the match.

There is a bit worry for East Bengal as their lone striker Plaza went off for his injury and replaced by Charles. In the added time of the first half, Neroca got a chance Turkovic got a ball by beating Eduardo Ferreira though Barretto saved it.

In the second half, Neroca was very impressive but, Al-Amna East Bengal midfield general missed a good chance to double their lead as Lalit Thapa saved his shot. Dika had a shot but, brilliantly saved by Thapa

Neroca had their best chance to equalise as Williams’ move to the front of the pitch has really opened up East Bengal’s defense and this time he almost gets himself on the score sheet from a thunderous kick from inside the box but Baretto has it covered.  Bazie got a yellow card for wasting time on the pitch as he was injured. Turkovic tears the defense apart with a stunner in the second post to get the equaliser in 89th minute. At the last minute in the added time Katsumi denied again from scoring as his free-kick headed out by Turkovic as he became saviour again for the home side Eduardo was declared as hero of the match.
