XtraTime Web Desk: Indian skipper Virat Kohli became the fastest player to score 10,000 ODI runs. He was just 81 runs short to reach the milestone before the second ODI against West Indies at Visakhapatnam. Kohli broke the record of another legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar as the master blaster took 259 innings while, Kohli took just 205 innings to reach 10,000 runs. He became only the fifth Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid to score 10000 runs for the country in ODI cricket. Former Aussie skipper Ricky Ponting took 266 innings while Jacques Kallis played 272 innings to reach the milestone.
