Image Source: ligtv.com.tr[/caption] Internet desk: Former Turkish footballer Hakan Sukur could face up to four years in prison after being charged with insulting Turkish president Recap Tayyip erdogan on Twitter. Sukur have been charged for posting offensive tweets from his account @HakanSukur.If the charges are proved Sukur faces up to four years in jail. A first hearing is expected to commence in the coming weeks. After retiring from football Sukur joined politics and was also elected MP for ruling party Justice and Development party (AKP). He resigned in 2013 following a corruption probe. To defend himself the 44 year old former inter Milan player claimed he has no intension to target the president But that was rejected by the prosecutors.
