Internet Desk: Indian all rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s marriage on Sunday was marred with controversy after gunshots were fired just a few feet away from the bridegroom during the marriage procession.The incident prompted the police to launch an inquiry.
According to sources, it was the celebratory bullets were fired in the air by Jadeja’s relatives, which is evident in the video footage that went viral. No one was injured, but cops arriving at the scene said it’s illegal to use even licensed firearms except in cases of self-defence.
Earlier, footage of Jadeja showcasing his sword skills during the Sangeet Ceremony also went viral on social media. Jadeja is all set to tie the nuptial knot with his fiancee Riva Solanki on Sunday.
According to reports, allrounder’s close friends MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo and some other Indian players will arrive in Rajkot on Sunday to attend the reception.
Jadeja and Riva got engaged in the first week of February earlier this year.
