Golden oldies re-unite at CCFC

Kolkata: Golden oldies of Bengal cricket converged today at the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club on the occasion of the club’s 225th anniversary. A galaxy of stars of yesteryears who did India and Bengal proud on the field of cricket came together to take part in a cricket match between the CCFC XI and CAB President’s XI. Leading the CAB XI was none other than the Cricket Association of Bengal President, Sourav Ganguly while the CCFC XI was lead by President Arun Lal. Former India cricketers like Saradindu Mukherjee, Deep Dasgupta, Ashoke Malhotra also added glamour to the historic occasion. Snehasish Ganguly, Raja Venkat, Rajesh Dani, Indubhushan Roy, Barun Burman, Satinder Singh and others also took part in the cricket match which is part of the year long celebrations to commemorate the 225th year of the club.
