Internet Desk: Brazilian star Neymar ends controversy over his renewal of his contract with Barcelona. He confirms of his contract with Spanish champions for another five years. Agent of the forward as well as club president Josep Maria Bartomeu confirms of the renewal of the contract.
“Neymar and his family has decided to stay with Barcelona and will renew his contract for five more years. The contract will be formalized this week. The decision will put to an end of the confusion over the future of star player,” claimed N N Consultoria, agency
representing Neymar.
The star forward also confirmed of his new contract by tweeting, “Very happy to continue living that dream! Long live Barca! Long live Catalonia!” on Thursday night.

This is the third year of Neymar with the La Liga champions. In 2013 he made his first contract with Barca leaving Brazilian team Santos. That time it raised big controversy of money dealings with the former club of Neymar. That time Barca paid huge fine for their star payer. That time the contract was made upto 2018. The Brazilian star played
key role to help Barcelona clinch two consecutive La Liga titles.
Recently Spanish media flourished rumours linking Neymar and Real Madrid, Manchester United. They claimed that due to good relation with the Manchester United officials, the star forward from Barcelona may leave the Catalan club.
However, Thursday a press conference concluded all the controversies. Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu claimed, “I heard about all the possibilities. Many clubs have interest on Neymar and that is obvious. But Neymer has never said he wants to leave Barca. Neymar wants to continue with Barcelona and they want Neymar to continue
with us”.
