Football Great Maradona Admitted To A Hospital, Doctor says “Nothing Serious”
XtraTime Web Desk - Argentine football legend Diego Maradona was admitted to a hospital for some medical checks and his personal doctor has ruled out any “serious complications”.
“It’s not a serious situation and we didn’t come for an emergency,” Leopoldo Luque, Maradona's personal doctor, told reporters outside the clinic in La Plata, south of Buenos Aires.
Without giving any specifics about Maradona’s condition, Luque said that his patient would undergo a series of medical check-ups citing his old age. “He’s an elderly patient with many pressures in his life. It’s a time when we must help him. It’s very difficult to be Maradona,” Luque said.
The doctor has also ruled out any link to coronavirus as an assurance to Maradona's millions of fans, who were gravely concerned as the pandemic is ravaging the south american country.
Maradona celebrated his 60th birthday few days ago. He is said to have joined his players briefly at the club’s training ground but was struggling while walking, as a result was helped away by his assistants just after spending 30 minutes in the party.

On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment
