Kolkata: Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan are unbeaten in their 5 matches of the mega derby along with that the Mariners have won one of the most vital games of their current I-League campaign. Bagan gaffer Sanjoy Sen however thinks that his team could have won the game by 6 goals.
“A win is a win, however few areas need improvement. Defeating the East Bengal is not the ultimate task, the aim si to win the I-League” said Sanjoy Sen.
“After Dicka got substituted, they attacked more, however these things are not uncommon” he added.
Skipper Sony Norde is of the opinion that the match could have been 2-1. Mohun Bagan will have a confidence booster after winning the derby. “We could have score a few more goals. My coordination with Kromah needs to be improved as we have not played together for a long time, however we will improve with time”. Sony however was impressed with Yuta Kinowaki’s game and Bagan official Debasis Dutta too lauded the Japanese.
Kinowaki whose job was to stop Katsumi is happy after his performance while goal-getter Kingsley dedicated his goal to his mother.
