Kolkata: East Bengal coach Khalid Jamil took all the blame of the derby loss on himself after his side lost 1-0 to their arch rivals in mega derby of the Hero I-League 2017-18. After the match Khalid said, “I take all the blame for the loss. We will have to practice more”

The Red and Gold gaffer too however didn’t field any Bengali player in the derby. On being questioned on the above matter Khalid said, “From the next time I will keep that in mind. We have 3 vital points today. We got many opportunities but failed to score any of them”

The East Bengal coach however stood by Willis Plaza despite the striker’s poor form. Jamil has called all his players for a meeting tomorrow and is of the opinion that the team would bounce back after a victory
