Suman Chakravorty & Sabyasachi Bagchi, New Delhi: Though the Indian U17 colts have lost their all three group league games but their performance in the FIFA U17 World Cup was a treat to watch. Most of the football greats from the nation and the coaches from the other countries too hailed the performance of the boys. They played such a classy football against Colombia. The Colombian coach said in the press-conference that he won’t be surprised if India won the match.

Floyd Pinto is currently the head coach Indian U19 football team; on the other hand Robert Hood is the Technical Director of Youth Development project.  India U19 team will play the U19 Asian Cup Qualifiers in a few days time. According to the sources, beside the U19 players most of the U17 boys too will be the part of the squad in the tournament. But the focus will be mostly on those U17 players. The Indian Senior team has already qualified for the AFC Asian Cup 2019. Beside them if the Indian colts can qualify for the forthcoming U19 Asian Cup that would be a great achievement for Indian football.

In an exclusive interaction with www.xtratime.in correspondent Suman Chakravorty, Floyd Pinto and Richard Hood discussed about the future road-map of India U17 colts.
