Suman Chakravorty: Indian Super League franchise Delhi Dynamos continues to recruit their foreign players, as the Delhi franchise now recruits 32 years old Argentine forward Juan Leandro Vogliotti for the ISL 2017 season, www.xtratime.in can confirm. Vogliotti, who is known to be an ‘opportunist’ forward, could just be a solution to his new franchise in scoring goals.
The forward who scored 40 goals in his 74 outings in his club career, had a good time in the previous season with Bolivian Club Sport Boys, scoring 21 goals in 36 appearances. Though he received a lot of criticism for wasting chances in abundance. Not just the last season, Vogliotti’s tendency of going casual and complacent offered tough times to his earlier club Ciclon as well in the 2015/16 season. Though he scored 17 goals that season in as many as 37 games.
Delhi Dynamos would be hoping that the forward would come out of his shell and would produce a memorable season to help his new team towards the glory. Vigliotti though is a hardworking forward and has the quality to come down deep to help his team in the build-up play.
Now it is to see, whether he clicks in his first stint in India or not.
