Exclusive: Delhi Dynamos rope in Former East Bengal & Mohun Bagan coach as their new Assistant Coach

Indian Super League  side Delhi Dynamos names Former Mohun Baagan, East Bengal and Mohammedan Sporting Coach Mridul Banerjee as their new Assistant Coach of the season.

In an interaction with www.xtratime.in, Mridul said, “It was XtraTime who gave me the good news a few days back. It’s a great opportunity for me to work in the ISL. I have worked in the I-League and in top teams like East Bengal, Mohun Baagan and Mohammedan Sporting, but working in the ISL would be a new experience.”




Delhi Dynamos were not at all happy with the performance of the present Assistant Coach Shakti Chauhan and were looking for someone who can be a serious presence in the technical aspects of the team. They short-listed Mridul and Stanley Rozario for the job. But Mridul was anyway ahead with his rich footballing experience and technical knowledge. His success in whatever chances he got in his coaching career, also played a key rol for him to get the job.
