Internet Desk: After playing a match winning knock at Chennai in the first ODI against Australia, former India skipper visited the corporate office of India Cements Limited (ICL) the next day. It was his first visit to ICL, where he met former BCCI and ICC supremo N Srinivasan too. It is known to all that ICL also owns the two time Indian Premier League Champions Chennai Super Kings, who are making a comeback in the cash rich tournament after two years ban.
According to the officials of ICL, Dhoni visited the place for some official work. Dhoni spent almost six hours there. He interacted with the staffs, met with the senior management team, visited the gym and, most importantly had a face to face chat with N Srinivasan.
The ICL did not try to keep the visit a secret. It posted the pictures of the visit on its Facebook page and stated that “MS Dhoni (VP-Marketing, The India Cements) visited the corporate office and spent time with the ICL family. He met the senior management team, met with teams in various departments (marketing, finance, HR, manufacturing etc.) He spent some time at the cafeteria during lunch time which allowed his colleagues to take selfies with him which will be always cherished in their memories…”
