Day 8 of WBTTA Premier League saw HABS leading the points table by a huge margin

Kolkata: A total number of five teams are competing in the West Bengal Table Tennis Association (WBTTA) Premier League 2017, which have already started from May 26 and will end on June 6. The digital partner of this prestigious tournament is XtraTime.

The five teams that are participating in the tournament are :- East Kolkata Table Tennis Organization (EKTTPO), Howrah Annapurna Bayam Samiti (HABS), L.W. Table Tennis Academy (LWTTA), Naihati Youth Association (NYA) and Sidhu Kanu Table Tennis Academy (SKTTA).

Day 8 unfolded the following results

Howrah Annapurna Bayam Samity (HABS) defeated L.W. Table Tennis Academy (LWTTA) by a score of 4-2
Sanmoy Paranjape, Anirban Ghosh, Tekmi Sarkar and Anirban Nandi won their games HABS while Poulomi Das and Shreya Ghosh emerged victorious LWTTA.
Anirban Nandi of HABS was adjudged the Player of the Match.

In their second match HABS drew 3-3 with Naihati Youth Association (NYA)

Anirban Nadi, Tekmi Sarkar and Akash Pal were winner for HABS and Ronit Bhanja, Suthirtha Mukherjee and Moumita Dutta of NYA were victorious.

Akash Pal of HABS who won brilliantly against Subhendu Shaw was awarded the Player of the Match.

East Kolkata Table Tennis Promotional Organisation (EKTTA) humiliated Sidhu Kanu Table Tennis Academy (SKTTA) by a score of 5-1.

Souvik Kar, Jeet Chandra, Mousumi Paul, Premangi Ghosh and Sougata Sarakar were winners for EKTTA while the lone winner from SKTTA was Prapti Sen.

Premangi Ghosh of EKTTA was the Player of the Match.
