Image Source: twitter[/caption] Internet Desk: Here's some good news for cricket fans who love to see their favorite retired cricketers who are set to return in the second edition of the Cricket All-Stars in 2017.

The T-20 league started in 2015 saw three T-20 matches between teams consisting of retired international cricket stars distributed in two teams: Sachin Tendulkar Blasters and Shane Warne Warriors, and were held across the United States of America.

The series did not take place this year, but will be back in 2017 as Shane Warne announced on his official Facebook page " The Cricket Superstars is excited to announce that it's back again in 2017 & it's a huge pleasure to announce these players who have signed up to play with more legends to announce soon," read his post.

The players featured last year are almost the same in the list of players mentioned, it does throw up a few interesting additions as well. Some new names include  Michael Clarke and Mitchell Johnson, Brendon McCullum, all of whom have retired in the last year, as well as Adam Gilchrist, Stephen Fleming, and Kevin Pietersen. English batsman Kevin Pietersen has been out of action from international cricket since January 2014.  Although, he was the highest run-getter from his side by scoring 294 runs from five Tests in the Ashes series. Many former English and other cricketers came in support of Pietersen but he never got another chance to make a comeback in the side. Besides, he continued playing Twenty20 (T20) leagues across the world. Pietersen is also now 36-year old and most of the cricketers start thinking of retirement at this age and he is mostly seen featuring in commentary behind the scene nowadays. So the speculation over Pietersen’s retirement has now become more reliable because of his inclusion in the All starts cricket team.
