Debasis Sen, Perth: Startling vision has emerged showing two Indian stars in a fiery verbal altercation during Day 4 of the second Test. In a video released by one of the host broadcasters Channel 7, Ravi Jadeja and Ishant Sharma were captured squabbling on Monday during Australia’s batting innings. Jadeja, the 12th man, appeared to be angry with Sharma and was certainly letting him know about it.

According to Channel 7 commentator Tim Lane, the two players were speaking in Hindi, but the language was still too colourful to broadcast. It’s unclear what Jadeja and Sharma were arguing about but it wasn’t a friendly discussion. The pair went chest to chest before two teammates, including Mohammed Shami, eventually helped restore order.
“It does seem pretty animated,” Ricky Ponting said on Channel 7.
“There’s lots of finger pointing. They were separated on a couple of occasions.”
The startling vision is the latest sign that cracks are emerging within the Indian camp.
