The security for the Indian team has been increased after the incident. Six people lost their lives while the police shot dead three attackers in the incident that took place in London. British Prime Minister Theresa May has raised concerns about the incident and will chair an emergency meeting of Cobra on Sunday. The United Kingdom intelligence has been alerted and there will be high security arrangements in place for the India-Pakistan tie at the Edgbaston. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has been duly informed about the incident and has been asked to remain panic free by the UK intelligence. This is the second terror attack incident in less than two weeks in the United Kingdom. A suicide bombing during a concert in Manchester arena on May 23 killed people. The BCCI and the Indian team management have been assured about the security arrangements. The team hotel of the Indian team has been changed in London following the incident. The Indian team was staying at the Grange City since arriving in London. They will now stay in Royal Garden hotel after returning back to London from Birmingham tomorrow. The ICC in a statement assured that there was nothing to worry as all possible measures have been taken to ensure top-notch security. "We will continue to work with authorities over the coming hours and days and review our security in line with the threat levels," the ICC statement said. "The security situation has been very much front and centre of our preparations and we constantly review our procedures to guarantee they are as effective as possible to keep everyone safe."
