Bundesliga 2021-22 : Bayern Munich beat Dortmund 3-2 in a thrilling German Clasico
Xtra Time Web Desk : The Der Klassiker or German Clasico once again went in the favour of German giants Bayern Munich as they beat their arch rivals Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in a thrilling match.
As usual, the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was in the thick of things for the Bavarian club as he opened the scoring for them after Julian Brandt put Dortmund ahead at the 5th minute mark. The match had no shortage of excitement as both sides played end to end football to make the affair intriguing for the whole 90 minutes. Kingsley Coman then scored a goal to put Bayern ahead at the half time.
But in the second half, star Dortmund striker Erling Haaland was also seen to be in full flow as he scored a right footed golazo to equalize the scoreline at 2-2 for the hosts before Lewandowski sealed the deal for the visitors with a well taken penalty at the 77th minute.
With this win, league leaders Bayern Munich extend their lead further to 4 points over Dortmund who currently sit in the second place.
