Internet Desk: The debut film of Australian speed star Brett Lee is waiting to be screened in-front-of Sachin Tendulkar and Shah Rukh Khan as well. The cricketer-turned-actor invited a bunch of bollywood actors and cricketers in the screening of his debut film ‘Unindian’.

“The screening will be before the release of the film here in India. We have invited a number of cricketers and Bollywood stars. We have invited Shah Rukh Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Preity Zinta and others,” Brett told.

The film has already been released in Australia and earned good popularity. It will be released in Indian cinema theatres on 19th August. The film is a romantic comedy based in Australia, where an Australian man, played by Brett, falls in love with a single, Indian mother played by Tannishtha, with their close friends and family expressing surprise at their choices for choosing a partner of a different culture.

The film also stars Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Grover, and Akash Khurana among others. The newcomer in film sector earned the favor of his director. “You all know Brett Lee as a cricketer, but I have always known him as a performer; I have done television commercials with him and heard his songs. So I saw a restless artist in him, who was hungry for some good acting and good performance”, said director Anupam Sharma.

The joke rounded around the sets and the mind of the director was expressed by the director in this way- “The only problem I had was that when everyone from India arrived, they told me ‘Oh my god! Brett Lee is acting, we are fans of him’, and Brett Lee would tell me, ‘Such big actors have come, how will I act in front of them’, I was in the spot between them.”
