Kolkata: East Bengal’s “Bharat Gaurav” Milkha Singh will not be present to take his award from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tomorrow during “East Bengal Foundation Day” due to illness. His secretary will be present to take the award on behalf of the “Flying Sikh”. East Bengal secretary Kalyan Majumdar said today addressing the media.
Tomorrow in the morning, the flag will be hoisted in the East Bengal tent in the presence of all the players, coach and officials. In the evening all the players with the coaching staff will be present during the cultural ceremony and award ceremony in Khudiram Anusilan Kendra from 5:30 p.m. Following is the total programme schedule for tomorrow:
