Suman Chakravorty:: If things go according to the process, then East Bengal might get a double boost ahead of the Kolkata derby, as 23-year-old Panama International, Ronaldo Dinolis might join Indian football giant Quess East Bengal FC, as per reports in Panama. Ronaldo is rated as one of the brightest prospects in Panama football. Ronaldo has an offer to move from Costa Rican football with AD Santos Guapiles, his current team, to the I-League of India. Ronaldo, the center-forward had his debut for his national team in 2017.
Panama media Buco Fútbol communicated with the Costa Rican company that is managing the operation on loan from the colonies, the football players agency and they informed them that the operation should be closed in a matter of days but numbers are still being finalized.
East Bengal CEO Sanjit Sen told www.xtratime.in , “Yes the talks are very much going on with Ronaldo. He is an exciting player. We want to bring the foreign forward before the derby. Including the new player in the squad is something which the coach will decide, but our intention will be to make him available for the selection.” He also added, “Yes we have been in negotiations with a few other players as well, but yes, as you mentioned, talks are very much on with Ronaldo.”
If the operation is completed, Dinolis would be the first Panamanian to play in India.
