XtraTime Web Desk: Two-time Indian Super League champions ATK has ended their pre-season tour of Spain with a 3-0 loss against Segunda División B side Football Club Jumilla. In the first half ATK conceded just 1 goal, but they conceded two more in the second on the 45th and 73rd minute of the game.
In their last on September 8 they went down fighting 1-0 against star-studded Premier League club Fulham. In this tour the performances of Indian U17 World Cup star Komal Thatal’s performance was very good. The other players too performed well.
ATK will return to Kolkata on September 16. After that they have plans to play practice matches against any of the two Kolkata giants from East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting Club. The discussion is going on but nothing has been finalized yet.
Steve Coppell’s side will start their campaign in ISL season 5 against Kerala Blasters in the inaugural match at the Salt Lake Stadium.
