Xtra Time Web Desk : The World Test Championship final will begin from Wednesday, and the Indian team is preparing with full force for it. But what will the pitch be like at the Oval? Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has now provided an answer to this.

Although there are no indications of rain in London, for the first time in 143 years, the Oval is hosting a Test match in the month of June. As a result, there will be a keen interest in the pitch. Therefore, Ashwin spoke about the pitch in his blog, discussing it with the pitch curator.

Ashwin stated in his blog about the purpose of the pitch curator, saying, "We have brought in a pitch doctor responsible for creating this pitch. So, tell us how it will be?"

To which the curator replied, "It will be a perfect pitch for the Oval."

Then Ashwin said, "You guys always create good pitches, but some of our players have suffered injuries while practicing on the pitch. It has a considerable amount of bounce. So, will it be like that? Will we get a pitch similar to Brett Lee's?"

The curator then informed, "I can assure you that there will be bounce."
