Acosta still uncertain, as East Bengal getting prepared to face ‘giant-killer’ Aryan

XtraTime Web Desk: Quess East Bengal is desperate to maintain the winning run against Aryan Club. East Bengal TD Subhash Bhowmick is looking for another improved show from his East Bengal squad on Saturday evening in their Calcutta Premier Division ‘A’ clash.

East Bengal Ground will be the center of attraction with two neighbors standing shoulder to shoulder with equal points on the league table.

East Bengal seem to have an unchanged line-up as Bhowmick said on the selection of Al Amna, “I need a good playmaker and Al Amna is the option I have on my hand right now.”

East Bengal only have two injury concerns as Lalrindika Ralte and Fanai will be missed in this game as well.

The Red and Gold brigade is giving a lot of respect to Rajdeep Nandi’s Aryan as they are now high on confidence after the famous win over Mohammedan Sporting. Bhowmick stated, “Aryan are a good side. They play well as a team. We know what are their strengths and what are their weaknesses. It might not be a pretty game‚ we need to grind the results out and I am 100 percent convinced players do everything we can do to win that game.”

The Kolkata giant is still waiting for the ITC papers of Costa Rican world cupper Johnny Acosta and his chances of playing against Aryan are very thin.
