From Nothing To Everything: Goalkeeper Orlando Gill Is Paraguay's New Hero
He saved two penalties and ensured that his country survived the biggest test of their World Cup journey and that is, beating Germany in a penalty shoot-out.

XtraTime NewsDesk: Before being deemed as a "savior" for his country, goalkeeper Orlando Gill was forced to sell the clothes from his old club to support his newborn child. Fans found this after seeing an old post by Gill's wife where she lamented about their financial situation and wrote that they have "nothing".
Now, Gill has gone from having nothing to having everything, or rather everyone on his feet. He saved two penalties and ensured that his country survived the biggest test of their World Cup journey and that is, beating Germany in a penalty shoot-out.
Kai Havertz's first penalty was saved by Gill, who made a flawless stop low to his left. The shootout was close and even until Gill rose once more to deny Nick Woltemade, the type of read goalkeepers spend their careers chasing and hardly get more than once. Kimmich, Gómez, Musiala, and Galarza all scored around it. The door was open after two saves from four German kicks.
Antonio Sanabria walked up next for Paraguay and could have closed it. He skewed his effort wide. Amiri scored to keep Germany alive, and when Fabian Balbuena stepped up for Paraguay, it was Neuer’s turn to be the story again, guessing right and pushing the ball away. Tah’s miss was still to come.
Gill ended up saving Paraguay and ensured that fans remember this moment forever. As said above, he went from nothing to everything
